Graduation with a Masters degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in Economics
Significant* experience in providing economic analysis on energy markets;
Significant* and recent* experience in providing advice and recommendations to management on energy markets;
Recent* experience in analysis of international trade issues and trade laws, as they apply to trade in energy
Recent* experience in managing human resources (minimum two full time employees) such as: setting objectives, assigning work, assessing performance, and providing feedback.
Recent* experience leading advocacy and outreach initiatives and engaging stakeholders, in a national or international context.
*Significant experience is defined as an experience of at least 3 years.
*Recent experience is defined as experience gained within the last 5 years.

Knowledge of the key emerging economic and market trends and policy challenges facing the Canadian energy sector;
Knowledge of international trade issues and trade laws, as they apply to trade in energy
