A pool of candidates will be established to staff a position on an indeterminate
basis. This pool may be used to staff similar positions in Moncton, NB.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial standards or the Public Service Commission approved alternatives.
EXPERIENCE*
Experience in the administration, interpretation and application of legislation, policies and/or procedures in a regulatory environment.
Experience in providing information to and dealing with the general public or technical audience.
Experience using computer software programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
*Experience is defined as having at least two (2) years’ experience within the last five (5) years.
EDUCATION
Graduation with a diploma/degree from a recognized college/university in a technical specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing guidance to others on the interpretation or application of regulations, standards or guidance material.
Experience in dealing with operational issues of a regulatory nature.
Experience working in the Aviation industry.
Experience in the design approval of aeronautical products.
Experience in project management within a technical environment.
Experience working with an information management data base system involving data entry, data manipulation and data retrieval.

Knowledge of the Aeronautics Act, Canadian regulations, Standards and Guidance Material as they apply to aircraft certification.
Knowledge of the roles and interactions between Transport Canada Civil Aviation, Federal Aviation Administration and European Aviation Safety Agency.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally as required.
Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required.
Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
