In collaboration with research scientists and engineers, conduct and deliver research projects in separation chemistry applied to mineral processing and related environmental fields. As specialist in separation chemistry, conceive ne concepts, instrumentation and theoretical and experimental approaches to adapt existing techniques to novel situations and to make significant contributions of new ideas and proposals for research and development. Plan, study and coordinate the collection of scientific information related to projects in applies to separation chemistry. Participate in focused technical committees and identify future need for research related to own area of expertise.

Currently enrolled in a Master Program. Successful completion of a Bachelor Program in a recognized Post secondary Canadian academic institution with a specialization in Analytical Chemistry and/or Environmental Chemistry or closely related discipline.
Experience in separation of uranium and actinide elements by ion exchange resins.
Experience in sample preparation and radioisotopes analysis using ICP-MS.
Experience in maintaining quality control to ensure sample integrity.
