Intent of the process

A pool of essential qualified or partially qualified candidates may be created/establish and may be used by Transport Canada to staff similar positions with various linguistic profiles English essential,BBB,CBC,CCC/requirements and/or various tenures (including Indeterminate / Term / Assignment / Secondment / Deployment /Acting) in the NCR.

Education

ED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Notes:
Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
For example a candidate could have a degree in psychology which includes courses in economics or statistics or sociology.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

EX1: Experience in conducting and evaluating current research on human factors issues.

Experience:

EX2: Experience in providing advice or recommendations on human factor implications and issues in industrial settings.

EX3: Experience in designing and delivering training.

EX4: Experience in analyzing human factors.

Education:

AED1: Graduation with a master’s degree or Ph.D. from a recognized university in psychology or other specialty relevant to the position.
