Looking for an exciting, dynamic and challenging work environment? Want your work to make a difference in people's lives? A position at the CRTC might be of interest to you!
The CRTC is a federal administrative tribunal of about 450 employees that serves Canadians as citizens, creators and consumers, and is committed to providing them with access to a world-class communications system.
At the CRTC, we engage in a wide range of activities. As part of our role in ensuring Canadians have access to a world-class communications system, we supervise and regulate various services on which we all rely. For example, we work to encourage and enhance competition in telecommunications services, such as Internet broadband and mobile phone. We promote Canadian culture and the development of compelling and diverse content by and for Canadians through the licensing of TV and radio services. We also work to reduce spam, unsolicited telecommunications and other nuisance communications.
Furthermore, in an article published in October 2015, the Hill Times indicated that the CRTC ranks in the top 10 best places to work in the federal public service.
A career with the CRTC is your chance to join a dynamic organization that offers intellectually stimulating work and to contribute to a wide range of decisions that have a direct impact on Canadians.
A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions within the CRTC with various tenures (acting, specified period or indeterminate positions), various security clearance levels and/or various language requirements.
