EDUCATION:
Successful completion of secondary school diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in the analysis of official documents and in creating short written summaries.
Recent* and significant** experience in entering data into a database in employment situation.
Experience in conducting research with computer tools in employment situation.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of current events and news involving the federal government.
ABILITIES:
Ability to understand and analyze correspondence, and to create short written summaries.
Ability to accurately enter data into a database.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally. *The ability communicate effectively in writing will be assessed using your application.
Ability to work successfully under pressure and to constantly face a heavy workload.

EXPERIENCE (ASSET):
Experience working in a Correspondence Unit.
Experience using correspondence management software such as, but not limited to, WebCIMS and ccmMercury.
KNOWLEDGE (ASSET):
Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of various federal government departments and agencies.
Secret security clearance - This factor is not used at the pre-selection phase.
The department is responsible for the security clearance process.
Proof of education credentials will be requested.
A written examination will be administered.
An interview will be administered.
Reference checks will be sought.
