Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Degree equivalency

Recent and significant experience* in providing administrative support in an office environment.
Experience in providing service to clients or the general public by telephone, in person, or in writing.
Recent and significant experience* in using various software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

* The successful applicant will have to meet and maintain the following conditions of employment throughout their employment:

Security clearance/reliability is a condition of employment.
Some positions being staffed require travel and/or work off-site.
Some positions being staffed require the possession of a valid driver’s license.
Some positions being staffed require overtime.
Some positions being staffed require shift work.
Some positions being staffed require lifting up to 23kg.
Some positions being staffed require medical clearance.
Some positions being staffed require an Isolated Post medical clearance.

Other information

Candidates from outside the public service will be responsible for all travel costs associated with this selection process.

Various levels of security clearance/reliability may be required for these positions, including some positions requiring Top Secret clearance.

The process requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of Criminal Activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.

You MUST clearly demonstrate in writing how you meet the Essential Education, and Experience requirements. Provide examples and describe the work/duties you have performed. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further during the screening process.
