Intent of the process

Presently, there is no position to be filled. A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada with various language requirements (Bilingual Imperative - level BBB/BBB, English Essential, French Essential OR English or French Essential) and various tenures within the National Capital Region. These positions may be staffed through term or indeterminate appointments.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education

Successful completion of secondary school education or a combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience

• Recent and significant experience* maintaining information contain in a database (such as but not limited to SQL)

• Recent and significant experience* researching and retrieving data to meet operational demands.

• Recent and significant experience* maintaining electronic and manual filing systems.

• Experience in conducting research using open sources (such as but not limited to Google, Canadian registries) and research of a legal and corporate nature**


* Recent and significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time continuous performance of duties for a minimum period of two years within the last four years.

** Legal nature is defined as research in law as but not limited to corporate law, Litigation, Civil law or Criminal law. Corporate nature is defined as research to determine the profile of a business such as but not limited to the financial statements, the Board of Directors and annual reports.

Asset Experience

• Experience providing recommendation to management*** regarding operational activities.

*** Management is defined as the level of a supervisor and higher.

Organizational needs
