Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff one (1) term position for a period of approximately five (5) months. It may also be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates to staff similar positions at the Office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada with varying linguistic profiles, security profiles, and tenures.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Experience providing administrative support services, including preparing and maintaining files, managing the flow of documents and data entry.
Experience providing services to clients in person, by phone and in writing in an office environment.
Experience in general accounting duties, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation or purchase orders.
Experience in using spreadsheet and word processing software, such as Excel and MS Word.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset Experience:

Experience in processing financial transactions in a financial system such as Freebalance.
Experience in verifying and processing travel expense claims.
Experience in providing financial services in a federal government setting.
