A. POLICY, PROGRAM, REGULATORY, & ANALYSIS
Candidates interested in this stream will be responsible for various tasks such as the development of policy, legislation, programs, governance and oversight of the regulatory process, as well as research and analysis that will contribute to a safe and secure transportation system.

- This stream could be used to staff positions such as: Senior Analyst, Policy Advisor, Senior Program Policy Analyst, Human Factors Specialist

B. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT, STRATEGIC INTEGRATION & EVALUATION:
Candidates interested in this stream may be responsible for tasks such as strategic and integrated business planning; planning, conducting and reporting on evaluation studies; and developing and providing advice and guidance on performance measurement strategies or frameworks

- This stream could be used to staff positions such as: Senior Evaluation Officer, Senior Program Policy Analyst, Strategic Planner

C. SOCIO-ECONOMIC RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS: Planning and management of economic, statistical and risk studies; data analysis and reporting; conducting of research and studies for internal and external stakeholders.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization* in economics, sociology or statistics.

Or

Graduation with a degree from a post-secondary program with acceptable specialization* in social science, statistics, library/archival work or a law-related field.

*Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Stream C –SOCIO-ECONOMIC RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
Master’s Degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in economics or applied economics or statistics.

• Experience in environmental issues.

• Experience preparing oral and written briefings on complex policy matters.

• Significant experience* in developing strategic frameworks, performance measurements, risk assessments, or evaluations.

• Experience in leading horizontal projects or managing multidisciplinary teams.
