Specialist will provide frontline customer services with respect to document management and mail and courier services to employees and managers of the Department.
Without being exhaustive, the tasks include: analyze, classify, index, examine, create, develop and revise the files series; ensure compliance with the policies of information security; receiving external and internal mail, distributing mail in pigeonhole, processing outgoing mail; provide advice and guidance related to records management and mail services to clients.
The position to be staffed is for a temporary period for the moment. A pool of qualified candidates will be established for future needs, and may be used to staff other similar positions within Fisheries and Oceans Canada. **The linguistic profile is French Essential Only**.

High School Diploma.
Experience in activities related to paper and electronic document management.
Experience with automated electronic document management tools.
Experience in processing mail service.
Post-secondary degree in information management, in document management or archival.
Experience with the Canada Post mail management tool.
Recent and significant experience* in activities related to paper and electronic document management.
Recent and significant experience* with automated electronic document management tools.
Recent and significant experience* in processing mail service.
*Recent and significant experience is defined as experience that would normally be acquired over a period of two (2) years, within the past five (5) years.
