Successful completion of post-secondary education in an occupational health and safety discipline or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

*Significant experience in developing, implementing and administering a health and safety program or activities in a multi-disciplinary organization.
*Significant experience in providing advice, guidance and recommendations to various clients and management, in an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor role.
Experience in developing Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures or guidelines in an Occupational Health and Safety environment.
Experience in writing documents such as briefing notes, reports, and presentations for management.

*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with the performance of the duties for a period of minimum of two (2) years and within the last four years

References must have worked with you for at least six (6) months within the last five (5) years.
