Increasing women’s economic security and prosperity;
Encouraging women’s leadership and democratic participation; and
Preventing and reducing violence against women and girls.

To deliver on its mandate, the Agency leads key policy initiatives on issues affecting women and girls, such as missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
