Duties

As a Business and Financial Officer, you will be responsible of:
- Doing follow-ups and helping the manager;
- Paying invoices;
- Tracking expenditures;
- Organizing financial files (ensuring that all files are complete);
- Doing debit/credit.

Intent of the process

There is an immediate need to staff 10 positions on a determinate and indeterminate basis. A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada with various tenure.

EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
1. Experience in providing financial services*.
2. Experience in using the following software programs: Word, Excel and Outlook.

*Examples of financial services are, but not limited to:
- Working on a payroll, preparing paychecks for employees;
- Doing corporate tax returns;
- Registering transactions in a ledger;
- Doing banking reconcialiation.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in any field relevant to the work to be performed.
