ALL POSITIONS WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:
EDUCATION:
- Secondary school diploma OR
- A satisfactory score on the PSC’s General Intelligence Test (GIT-320). If you do not have a secondary school diploma, you will be invited to this test.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing
- Experience in using word processing software (e.g. MS Word)
- Experience in using spreadsheet software programs (e.g. MS Excel)
Various language requirements
- English Essential
- Bilingual Imperative - You will need to be able to work in English AND in French (reading, writing and oral proficiency). The level of bilingual proficiency varies depending on the position, however the minimum required levels are BBB/BBB.

DEPENDING ON THE POSITION, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE HAD:
-Experience in researching, extracting, collecting information or manipulating data using systems;
-Experience in performing financial support functions (e.g. cashing and registering funds, managing petty cash, verifying or preparing invoices, etc.);
-Experience drafting correspondences, reports, etc.;
-Experience in managing a calendar, planning or organizing meetings;
-Experience in planning and organizing travel arrangements;
-Experience working in a service desk environment;
-Experience working in a legal environment or law enforcement;
-Experience working with Indigenous communities;
-Experience working in Northern/cross cultural environments;
-Knowledge of languages other than English and French.

In-person testing sessions to assess competencies will take place in the following cities: Whitehorse, Halifax, Gatineau, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. If candidates are unable to attend an in-person testing session at any of the six cities mentioned, we will make our best effort to accommodate your choice of testing location. However, should the location be unavailable, candidates will be required to pay for their own travel expenses associated with the assessment and/or relocation, if applicable.
