Amendment to intent statement
• Executing financial administrative processes for large or complex/problematic portfolios;
• Providing and coordinating financial administrative processing services (accounts receivable/payable) to clients, including responsibility centre managers;
• Explaining policies, directives and guidelines, and providing options;
• Utilizing computerized financial information systems and other software applications.
The Finance and Resource Management Services Directorate is responsible for sound management, stewardship and policy and program decision-making through the provision of timely, robust and relevant financial information, services and advice.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used for similar permanent and temporary employment for the location indicated for this process.
In the event that an employee of the public service is qualified through this process, and there is a temporary need, he/she may be considered for acting or assignment/secondment opportunities.

Secondary school diploma.
Experience in providing financial support services such as processing financial transactions.
Experience in using word processing and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and email software packages.
Experience in using the SAP financial system.

Post-secondary diploma in accounting, finance or business administration from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Experience in using the Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) Shared Travel Services (STS) system.
Experience in providing financial support services such as processing financial transactions within the federal government in accordance with Treasury Board policies, directives or guidelines.
Experience in providing advice and guidance on federal government policies and procedures related to accounts payable and/or travel.
