The BDSD is the business steward of the Government of Canada’s (GC) recruitment and staffing system, PSRS. The PSRS is the primary on-line recruitment system used to facilitate the posting of public service advertisements and notifications.
It is responsible for the reliable and secure operation of PSRS including:
System enhancements and modernization;
Ongoing maintenance of the staffing system infrastructure; and
User support and learning products.
It also provides project management, business analysis and User Experience (UX) expertise to both PSRS initiatives as well as services other business areas within the Public Service Commission (PSC).
A pool of qualified candidates will be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures in the future at the Public Service Commission (PSC) in Gatineau.

Education:
Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized Post-secondary institution in a field relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Stream 1, 2 and 3: (Business Analyst )*
Experience in writing and developing business analysis documentation and user centred artefacts.
Experience applying different methods of user centred requirements elicitation.
Experience preparing briefing documents and presentations for management.
Stream 2 only - User Experience (UX)
Experience designing graphical interfaces, prototypes, or mock-ups.
Experience planning and conducting user research or usability testing.
Stream 3 only - Architecture
Experience working with Business Modelling Tools, Enterprise Architecture Tools and Architectural Frameworks.

Education:
Certification in domains related to Business Analysis, Business Process Management, or in Business Process Improvement.
