Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY: A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established from this selection process and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, various linguistic profiles, various security clearances as well as various locations within the Canada Border Services Agency.

EDUCATION:
- A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternative*.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
- Significant and recent** experience delivering multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in reporting on projects and initiatives (i.e. progress, scope, schedule, costs/financials).
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple people, organizations, partners and/or stakeholders with different views and priorities.
- Experience in managing project budget ensuring project expenses occur in accordance with delegated financial and procurement authorities.
- Experience in contracting (e.g. working with procurement to issue purchase orders/contracts).
- Experience developing Statements of Requirements, Statement of Works, Business Cases or Security Requirements Check Lists (SRCL).
- Experience in reading and interpreting architectural drawings (e.g. site and flooring layouts), to ensure they are compliant with requirements, and in completing site visits.

**Significant and recent experience is defined as a minimum of 2 years’ experience acquired within the last 5 years.

- Experience in the delivery of renovation projects or fit-up or construction projects through a project team within Government of Canada Buildings or leased facilities.
- Experience using organizational standards and guidelines for design.
- Experience using the AutoCAD software.
- Experience working on a project that involved the use of Public Service and Procurement Canada Workplace 2.0 Fit-up Standards.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing and able to work overtime, as required.
- Willing and able to travel.
- Willing and able to carry a cellular phone or other communication device.
