Intent of the process

This process will be used to establish pools of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various official language proficiencies (bilingual imperative CBC/CBC, bilingual imperative CCC/CCC, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, and English or French essential), various security profiles (Reliability and Secret), various tenures (Indeterminate, Term, Full-time and Part-time) using various staffing activities (Indeterminate, Term, Acting, Secondment, Deployment, Assignment and Casual) for positions in the National Capital Region within Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Education :

Secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience).

Degree equivalency

Experience :

Experience in providing administrative service support in an office environment.

Experience updating and tracking data or any type of information.

Experience in organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy file systems.

Significant* and recent** experience using Microsoft Word.

* Significant experience is the depth and breadth as well as complexity of tasks that could be expected to have been obtained by carrying out the functions for normally 2 years.

**Recent is defined as within the last five years.
