Intent of the process

The purpose of this inventory is to identify potential candidates to fill positions on a term or indeterminate basis within Defense Research and Development Canada in Ottawa (Ontario), Valcartier (Québec) or Suffield (Alberta).

This inventory could be used to fill positions with various tenures, security clearance requirements or linguistic requirements.

A covering letter in 1,500 words (maximum) "Your cover letter will be read in conjunction with your curriculum vitae to determine if you meet the education and experience requirements of this inventory. You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION

• Information Technology (CS): Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

• Research (DS): Graduation with a master's degree with specialization from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or some other specialty relevant to the position.
* DS positions also require acceptable experience related to the position to be filled.

• Engineering (EN-ENG): Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary in electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.

- Navigation Electronic Warfare

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

• Engineering (EN-ENG): Eligibility for certification as a professional engineer in Canada with specialization in an engineering specialty relevant to the position.
• Engineering (EN-ENG): Certification of a recognized organization in project management such as Project Management Institute (PMI).
