Intent of the process

Although the immediate intent of this poster is to fill one (1) position on an indeterminate basis, applicants should be aware that a pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various security requirements, various language requirements, conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Health Canada in the National Capital Region.

ED1. A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience related to the position.

Degree equivalency

Both Streams:

EX1. Experience in researching and analysing policy or program issues, and providing advice to management.

EX2. Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with program representatives or regional offices or other stakeholders.

EX3. Experience in consulting with clients and stakeholders to negotiate and arrange for program products and services.

EX4. Experience in conducting reviews and analysis of current and future program needs, as well as emerging and potential issues.

EX5. Experience working on First Nation and Inuit health related issues.
