The Office of the Comptroller General is seeking high performing Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs) to recruit into finance and accounting positions across all federal government departments and agencies located throughout Canada, including the National Capital Region (Ottawa/Gatineau).

To hire indeterminate (permanent, full time), acting, specified period, deployment, assignment, secondment and interchanges through Interchange Canada.
An inventory of qualified candidates will be established on behalf of all federal government departments and agencies. There will be approximately 25 positions, with various language requirements, to fill from this pre-qualified inventory.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Education:
-Possession of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
Experience:
-Recent* and significant** experience in finance in at least one of the following areas:
o Financial Planning and Resource Management;
o Financial Policy;
o Financial Systems;
o Internal Control;
o Accounting Operations;
o Financial Reporting;
o Auditing;
o Tax;
o Advisory Services;
o Costing.
* “Recent experience” is defined as experience obtained within the last six (6) years.
** “Significant experience” is understood to mean three (3) or more years of experience in performing a broad range of activities related to either:
• Any combination of the areas listed above; or
• One of the areas listed above.

Organizational Needs:
-Treasury Board Secretariat employees affected by workforce adjustment may be appointed before persons employed by other government organizations;

Operational Requirements:
