Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one (1) AS-05 indeterminate position in Regina (Saskatchewan).

A pool of qualified candidates will be established and could also be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, titles and security requirements within Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and various Federal Government Departments.

Education:
The minimum standard is:
• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).

Notes:
1. The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
o A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
o An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience developing and managing an annual budget.*
*Include the size and distribution of the budget and for how many years you have been performing this function.

Experience supervising staff.**
**Supervision (as a minimum) includes establishing goals, assigning work and managing performance. Include the size of the team and your role in their supervision.

Experience developing and leading programs and/or projects.

Experience managing a fleet.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Current Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation

Degree equivalency

Experience in the procurement of goods and services.
Experience preparing project documentation.
Experience analyzing issues and giving advice and recommendations to management.
Experience managing real property projects.
