This position provides cleaning and janitorial services to the buildings, offices and the estate at Manoir Papineau National Historic Site.
The incumbent will perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning washrooms, offices, exhibit halls, collecting garbage or recyclables, facility maintenance and landscaping.
Occasional work may be required at Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site.

- High school diploma (HSD) or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in providing cleaning or janitorial services
- Experience performing maintenance work (ex.: fixing door handles, touching up paint, assembly, landscaping).

Possess and maintain a valid class 5 driving license.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Agree to wear a Parks Canada uniform in accordance with Parks Canada’s Uniform Policy.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- Need to perform certain physical tasks according to the requirements of the position (e.g., lifting loads of up to 25 kg).
