Attendants at Fundy National Park may work in a variety of locations such as at a campground, an entrance kiosk, a visitor centre, a pool, or a golf shop. Attendants may also perform compliance rounds in the park to check for permits or operate a mobile gate.
At all work locations visitor service attendants provide the highest level of service to visitors and seize on opportunities to make someone’s visit memorable.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial standards or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in interacting with the public; responding to customer questions and providing helpful direction.

• Experience in dealing with difficult situations, be they with customers or co-workers, to achieve a positive outcome
• Experience in handling cash, operating point of sale systems and performing cash out duties

Reliability Status security clearance - Successful candidates are required to obtain and maintain this security level throughout employment with Parks Canada.
• You will be required to possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent.
• You must be willing to work overtime.
• You will be required to work shiftwork, and/or weekends, and/or statutory holidays and/or provincial/territorial holidays as scheduled by your supervisor. Compensation will be as prescribed in the Terms and Conditions of Employment applicable to you.
• You must be willing to work and travel in a variety of terrains and weather conditions in the performance of your duties.
• You will be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• You are required to wear a uniform, which is provided, while performing your duties.
• You must be available to work from mid-May to mid-October.
