The intent of this process is to staff one (1) permanent position in Bonnyville, Alberta.
This process will be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates. The pool may be used to staff similar indeterminate, term or acting positions with various security requirements and tenures, which may vary accordingly to the position being staffed.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. EDUCATION
• Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience*.

EXPERIENCE
• Experience providing services to internal and external clients over the phone, in person and in writing.
• Experience providing administrative support services including data entry, filing and preparing documents such as briefing notes and/or reports.
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
• Experience maintaining a law enforcement database such as CPIC and/or PROS.
• Experience liaising with court representatives or officials, or preparing court disclosure packages.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness and ability to work in a busy police environment, including exposure to unsettling and/or graphic material.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation.
• Willingness and ability to maintain a valid class 5 driver's license.
