➨ Position Title: Maintenance Tradesperson
Responsibilities: The role involves providing general maintenance (corrective and preventive), construction work and, in some institutions, minor service of vehicles. This can embrace a range of specific tasks, including providing services as a relief officer for maintenance shops, labor, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, metal, paint, masonry, service plant, composter and garage (which are considered maintenance activities or part of the maintenance shop) for a CSC institution, and for providing the necessary training to offenders.
