📌 Eligibility criteria:
To be considered for employment as a military spouse or common-law partner, you must meet the following conditions:
✅ You must be a military spouse or common-law partner of a serving Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) member
✅ You must not already be employed as a permanent (indeterminate) employee in the federal public service
✅ Your serving CAF member spouse/partner must be a member of the Regular Force or the Reserve Force on Class C service or Class B reserve service of more than 180 consecutive days.
If you are a surviving spouse/common law partner of a CAF member whose death is attributable to service, you are eligible. If you have a priority entitlement as a surviving spouse/common law partner, please identify this in your application.
Note: All of the eligibility criteria will be verified. Please ensure that your spouse's records are updated with their orderly room (eg. spouse, address, etc)

The Military Spouse Employment Initiative (MSEI) provides military spouses and common-law partners with tools and resources to develop their skills and pursue their careers within the Federal Public Service.
