📍 The positions are located at Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge, a federal correctional institution housing federally incarcerated women, where ongoing contact with inmates may be necessary.

📍 Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge is located on the Nekaneet First Nation, near Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. The Healing Lodge is 150 km from the nearest large city, Medicine Hat, Alberta and over 400 km from other Correctional Service Canada (CSC) facilities.

📍 The location of Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge on the Nekaneet First Nation is unique in that Nekaneet continues to live in traditional ways. The practices, culture, and values of the Nekaneet is taught to the residents. There are many traditional ceremonies at Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge.

We gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we work belongs to Nekaneet First Nation. Treaty 4 Territory is the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the Homeland of the Métis Nation.
