Duties

Provides general labour services to support grounds, roads, and facilities maintenance; construction and installation of new facilities/structures; or other general labour requirements for the Parks Canada Agency.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Experience in labour activities involving repair and maintenance of two of the following: buildings/structures, roads, or grounds.

Experience involving the use of hand tools, power tools and power equipment.

Ability to operate small hand tools and powered equipment.

Experience in the operation of light ride-on equipment.

Will be required to work weekends, shift work, overtime and statutory holidays as scheduled.

Willingness to work and/or travel in varied terrain, adverse weather conditions.

Willingness to take training and update certification as requested by the employer.

Must be able to perform physical tasks as per the job requirements.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance - Obtain and maintain Reliability Status.

Maintenance of a valid class 5 Nova Scotia Driver’s License, or other provincial equivalency.
