This inventory is for casual employment. Casual employment is temporary employment of 90 working days or less in a calendar year, to meet needs for temporary vacancies arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc.

Possession of a valid Canadian Driver's Licence equivalent to a Saskatchewan Class 2 Driver's Licence.
A driver's abstract with no violations in the last 12 months*
*A copy of the driver's abstract will be requested during the assessment phase and may be requested again upon successful completion of the security clearance process for the successful candidate
Experience using e-mail systems.
Experience operating a variety of large vehicles, specifically cars, trucks, and buses.

NOTE: Casual workers are excluded from the provisions of the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). This means that casual workers are not considered employees of the federal public service and are not eligible to apply on internal appointment processes. In addition, the PSEA specifies that the number of days worked as a casual worker cannot exceed 90 days in a calendar year within the same department.
The successful applicant will have to obtain, as a minimum, an RCMP Reliability Status. The process also requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
