EDUCATION

Graduation with a master's degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in clinical, forensic or counseling psychology.

Specific coursework at the graduate level in one or more of the following areas: abnormal behaviour/psychopathology, psychological assessment, and/or psychological interventions.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION

Registration for autonomous practice of psychology by a provincial or territorial registering/licensing body in Canada.

EXPERIENCE

Experience in the provision of psychological services (including mental health services), such as assessment, counseling or other psychological services with adults, either to groups or individuals

Degree equivalency
