Intent of the process

Create inventory which can be used for indeterminate, term, part-time or casual appointments.

NOTE - casual employment means a short-term employment option to hire persons to the Public Service for a period not to exceed 90 working days in one department in any one calendar year

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Education:
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives.

Employer approved alternative is an acceptable combination of training and experience. Experience working in an office environment that required tasks such as: typing, filing, sending and replying to e-mail, answering telephone inquires, etc and training in the basic use of computers

Degree equivalency

Experience providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing.
Experience providing clerical support services in an office environment
Experience using computer software, such as Microsoft Office
Experience in maintaining electronic or hard copy filing systems

Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Experience in reviewing, researching and extracting information from various sources.
