Intent of the process

This inventory is for casual employment which is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year, to meet needs from such contingencies as vacations, sick and training leaves, to conduct special projects that are anticipated but dependent of the availability of funds.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
- Graduation from an appropriate engineering technology/technician program
Or
- Possession of a journeyman certificate in one of the electrical or mechanical trades.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the controls trade.

- *Recent experience in operating, installing, repairing, programming and calibrating building automation controls for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

- Experience operating a computer and proficiently able to use software applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

*Recent is defined as experience normally acquired within the last five (5) years.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

- Possession of a Province of New Brunswick Class 5 Drivers License and must be able to obtain a DND 404 driving permit.
- Able to climb and work off ladders and platforms.
- Able to lift and carry 23 kg.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
