Experience providing general labour services performing four or more of the following:
Assisting skilled tradespersons
Loading/unloading/moving work materials
Using a variety of hand tools and power tools/equipment
Routine maintenance and repair of equipment
Performing grounds maintenance services ie: grass cutting, raking, trimming trees, snow shovelling, salt/sanding walkways.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to read and follow direction.
Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures.

Willingness to work overtime as required
Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
Willing and able to work in an environment with noxious fumes
May include, but not limited to, wearing safety boots, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling and/or pushing, grasping, reaching, stooping/crouching, sitting, reading, writing, colour determination, speaking/listening for extended periods of time.
May include, but not limited to, wearing Personal Protective Equipment used in a construction and maintenance environment.
English essential
Proficient in the use of the English Language.

Experience driving tractors and/or skid steers
Experience working with asphalt or concrete repairs
Experience working with chain link fence/gate installation/repairs
Experience in landscaping/grounds maintenance
WHMIS training
Reliability Status security clearance - Reliability
Possession of a valid unrestricted Nova Scotia driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 driver's permit.
