Possession of a valid Nova Scotia Third Class Standardized Power Engineers certificate.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of a high and low pressure steam plant.

Knowledge of boiler and pressure vessel regulations and Codes.
Knowledge of feed water treatment.
Ability to operate and maintain a high and low pressure steam plant.
Ability to conduct and interpret chemical tests and boiler water and determine control action.
