Intent of the process

This inventory is for casual employment which is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year, to meet needs from such contingencies as vacations, sick and training leaves, to conduct special projects that are anticipated but dependent of the availability of funds.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Possession of a valid Journeyman certification in the Steamfitting trade as issued/recognized by the Apprenticeship and Certification Branch of New Brunswick and
a valid license as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter as issued by the Technical Inspection Services
Branch of the New Brunswick Department of Public Safety.

Degree equivalency

Experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial and commercial hot
water heating and ventilation systems.
Experience installing and maintaining industrial and commercial building potable water,
waste and venting systems and all associated fixtures/components.

Reliability Status security clearance

Possession of a Province of New Brunswick Class 5 Drivers License and must be able to
obtain a DND 404 driving permit.
