Candidates will be required to pay for their own travel (including travel for assessment purposes), and may be required to pay for their own relocation expenses.
The intent of this process is to staff a position on an indeterminate basis in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, and create a pool of qualified candidates. The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment and secondment) within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Applicants are encouraged to apply ONLY if they are willing and able to relocate to Crowsnest Pass, Alberta.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience*.
*Proof of education will be required prior to appointment.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing records management services such as indexing, cross-referencing, filing, retrieving, retaining, archiving or destroying data.
Experience providing administrative support services*
*Administrative support services can include, but are not limited to: providing support relating to court liaising, purchasing and procuring of goods and services, handling incoming and outgoing mail, safekeeping of exhibits/evidence. Etc.
Experience in working with internal and external clients and partners to provide information and direct inquiries.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in financial activities such as: tracking and reconciling transactions, coordinating, compiling, and recommending budget estimates and strategies.
Experience in maintaining a law enforcement database such as: Police Reporting Occurrence System (PROS) or Canadian Police Information (CPIC).
Experience in working in a law enforcement and/or legal environment.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willing and able to work in a busy police environment, including exposure to unsettling and/or graphic material.
Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation (including owned or leased government transport, commercial and light aircraft
Willingness and ability to work overtime, as required.
Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Willingness and ability to lift up to 20 kg.
RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status (ERS) security clearance.
