The main duties of the Primary Care Services Manager include but are not limited to:
Responsible for management of the operational planning and administration associated with the delivery of primary healthcare services including health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, rehabilitation, counselling, and patient education. Key activities include managing and coordinating staff assignments consistent with patient population health care needs. Providing leadership to staff ensuring that they are provided with information, tools, training, and resources (human, financial and material) to support service delivery. Planning, establishing, monitoring, and reporting on procedures, operational tools and processes for performance and outcome management. Evaluate service delivery and develop and initiates business and operational improvements. This job involves working directly with military and civilian health care providers, allied health professions, and administrative support staff.
