Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB in Gagetown. A pool may be created to staff similar positions with various tenures, language profiles and security requirements to be used across DND.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EX1. Experience in the procurement of goods.
EX2. Experience working in a warehouse, shipping or receiving environment or distribution centre.
EX3. Experience in the management of an annual budget.
EX4. Experience in providing customer service.
EX5. Experience in handling and storage of dangerous goods (HAZMAT).
EX6. Experience with workplace safety programs, equipment and practices.
EX7.Experience supervising employees and evaluating performance

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-Must be willing and able to travel as required by the employer.

-Must be willing and able to lift objects up to 20 kg from the floor to shoulder height, frequently.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

-Must possess and maintain a valid, non-graduated, and unrestricted provincial or territorial Class 5 driver’s license.
-Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Departmental driver’s license (DND 404).
-Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
