Who can apply: Students enrolled at the University of Toronto in a Master of Science program with specialization relevant to the duties of the position.

This project involves evaluating the potential of Montney Formation Turbidite units for carbon storage.

Intent of the process

The intention is to staff one student position for the completion of a Master of Science degree.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Essential Education:
• Currently enrolled in the University of Toronto in a Master of Science program with specialization relevant to the duties of the position.

Degree equivalency

In the context of student recruitment in the federal public service, experience can be acquired through studies, work experience or volunteer activities.

Essential Experience:
• Experience in petrophysical characterization of sedimentary rocks and reservoir simulation.

• Knowledge of reservoir Engineering including petrophysical and geomechanical evaluation.
• Knowledge of reservoir simulation using CMG and Eclipse - Python Programming- Machine Learning.
