Salary, Allowances, and Benefits:
In addition to salary, you are entitled to isolated post allowances. This can range from $18,217 to $26,012 per year, depending on the number of dependants and the geographic location. You are also entitled to vacation travel allowance of approximately $1,000 once a year for you and each eligible dependant.
As a federal government employee, you will also receive a comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan and health, dental and group insurance.
Workplace and telework:
Employees must perform their duties from a government of Canada physical workplace at least 2-3 days each week, or 40-60% of their regular schedule. The workplace of the position to be filled is located in Yellowknife, NT. Successful candidates will be required to work at the work site, either full-time or in a hybrid work mode. A part-time telework agreement may be discussed and implemented at the time of hiring in accordance with the operational needs of the position to be filled.

• A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
For purposes of this particular process, an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is defined as:
- A minimum of high school education; and
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience directly related to the position.

• A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution specializing in communications, public relations/public affairs, business administration, journalism, or mass media.
