The Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch (SPIB) is responsible for leading the integrated effort to deliver Laboratories Canada Strategy, an ambitious 25-year whole-of-government Strategy to build a stronger, more collaborative federal and technology ecosystem across Canada. Laboratories Canada will meet the changing needs of scientific research.
The Phase 1 of Laboratories Canada focuses on 5 priority areas: (1) security and regulation, (2) health and safety, (3) resource management and low carbon economy, (4) transportation safety, (5) cultural heritage and preservation. World-class, collaborative, accessible and environmentally sustainable, Laboratories Canada will strengthen science excellence, inspire tomorrowโs discovery, and benefit all Canadians.
SPIB will be leading the implementation of Laboratories Canada and offers a dynamic team, a challenging work portfolio, and opportunities for growth and unique access to scientific research facilities.
