What is a census test?
Between censuses, Statistics Canada takes steps to ensure that each census produces relevant information that Canadians can use to make informed decisions. The 2024 Census Test is conducted to evaluate the census questionnaire (including new and modified content) and collection procedures and tools to prepare for the 2026 Census of Population. To do so, we hire new employees to help assess these new procedures, systems, and tools.

• New to census and wants to learn about the project
• Looking for meaningful work and an opportunity to have a direct impact on the 2026 Census
• A dedicated team member that likes to provide feedback and recommendations
• Able to perform basic computer tasks
If this sounds like you, apply today! We look forward to hearing from you.
