Intent of the process

This process is intended to fill current and anticipatory vacancies in the Petawawa Unit for FOS-05 and FOS-05 B3.
This process may also be used to fill future vacancies with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), language profiles, security requirements, and conditions of employment.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Possession of a valid Interprovincial Journeyman Cook Qualification (Red Seal) OR Canadian Forces Qualification Level 5 (QL5) OR a manager approved** combination of education, training and/or experience.
**Manager approved combination is defined as one (1) year schooling with one (1) year of work experience OR a graduate of a two (2) year culinary arts program.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience* as a cook in an institutional, industrial or commercial food service establishment.

*Experience is defined as the depth and breadth normally acquired by performing a broad range of activities associated with performing the full duties.
