Work environment

Our team is currently working under a hybrid work schedule. The selected candidate will be required to report to the workplace 3 days per week. Virtual employment will not be considered.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff positions on an indeterminate basis.

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Should a Public Service (PS) employee be found qualified and selected for appointment, notification regarding the PS appointment will be posted accordingly on www.jobs.gc.ca.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

-Recent * experience in providing briefings and recommendations to management related to compensation, pension, insurance and benefits policies, guidelines, legislations and regulations
-Recent ** experience in the preparation of a variety of documents such as training materials, procedures, briefing materials, policy documents, and others
-Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and partners

STREAM 1
-Recent* experience working within government or private pension plan

STREAM 2
-Recent* experience working with insurances or benefits plans
-Recent * experience in the administration of service delivery contracts or insurance contracts including case resolution

*Recent is defined as experience acquired within the last three (3) YEARS.

Preference
