Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) in the Atlantic Region provides a diverse and inclusive work environment, often in a virtual context backed by a small yet strong and integrated team. PAC is responsible for delivering an effective outreach and engagement strategy in Atlantic Canada to provide information to businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises, about how to navigate the federal procurement system and how to do business with the Government of Canada in order to create a more open, fair and inclusive procurement process. The intent of this anticipatory staffing process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates to staff future vacancies in one of the following locations: Halifax, NS, Moncton, NB, Charlottetown, PE, or St. John's, NL. The pool may also be used to staff similar positions with various linguistic requirements, tenures, security profiles or locations at Public Services and Procurement Canada.

EDUCATION :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, statistics or sociology.
Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE :
EX1: Experience in conducting research and analyzing data from multiple sources and using that information to make recommendations to more senior colleagues and/or management either verbally or in writing.
EX2: Experience working on a project or an initiative within a multidisciplinary team and reporting on results.
EX3: Experience developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders (e.g., other branches or directorates, other federal departments, other levels of government, or private and/or public sector organizations).
EDUCATION
AQ1 - Masterโs degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE
AE1 - Experience in procurement or contract management of goods, services or construction.
AE2 - Experience in preparing, coordinating, and analyzing client feedback.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willing and able to work overtime occasionally on short notice
Willing and able to travel to various locations throughout the Atlantic region which may require overnight stays.
