Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill current and future vacancies in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department of National Defence.

EX1. Experience in practical training instruction related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Warfare.
EX2. Experience providing training on practices relating to the use, handling and storage of contaminants
EX3. Experience in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Warfare.
EX4. Experience in instructional techniques related to practices relating to the use, handling and storage of contaminants.
EX5. Experience in giving directions

AEX1. Experience using the (Respiratory Protection Test Kit) RPTK simulator.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a civilian driver’s license OR be willing and able to travel in accordance with the requirements of the position.
• Maintain a valid Unit Commander’s signed Weaver as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Warfare instructor at all times.
• Willingness to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
• Willingness to regularly wear personal protective equipment.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

One or more of the following conditions of employment may be required, depending on the position being staffed. Additional conditions of employment could also be required, not listed below. The complete list of conditions of employment will be communicated to candidates at the time of consideration for appointment for each position being staffed.

° Work in an enclosed area (gas hut) and with a training gas to simulate a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear environment.
