By joining our team, you will have opportunity to provide direct support to health services and community based programming. You will build and support strong working relationships with First Nations and Inuit communities, families, and individuals, with a focus on improving health outcomes and reducing health risks.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate with concrete examples, IN THE PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS, how they meet the education and experience factors listed in the essential qualifications. Only screening questionnaire will be used during pre-screening process. We may use resumes as a secondary source to validate the answers to the pre-screening questions. Candidates who fail to provide sufficient information will be eliminated from further consideration.

This process will be used to create a pool of qualified candidates for casual opportunities within Indigenous Services Canada.

EDUCATION:
• Successful completion of two years of secondary school (high school) or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software (such as but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Experience in providing administrative support in an office environment in areas such as managing a daily schedule, including planning and coordinating meetings, finance, human resources, material management, administrative support to the preparation of reports or travel bookings.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE (ASSET):
• Experience in the administration of contracts and/or procurement.
• Experience in processing financial transactions in a financial system (such as SAP or Oracle) or account payment process
• Experience in providing budget and financial support services.
• Experience providing advice and recommendations to management.
• Experience working in a call centre environment.
• Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
