• Conducting laboratory, greenhouse and field experiments;
• Undertaking chemical and/or biochemical experimentation in support of ongoing research projects;
• Apply programming experience to data processing and new technology development;
• Managing all analyses, including operating various instruments, scheduling instrument use, maintaining analytical data archives, ensuring quality control;
• Participating in design and implementation of experiments by advising on effective use of all equipment and assisting in the interpretation of analytical data;
• Participating in the ideation, design, and/or development of new equipment and/or methods.

Immediate need: 1 full-time temporary position (2 year term).

Experience with software programming C or C++ and Python.
Experience undertaking biochemistry experimentation and preparing biological samples for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
B. Sc. degree or graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Experience applying software programming for data analysis.
Experience with hyperspectral image data processing.
Experience applying software programming with image processing or analysis.
Experience with the application of electronic energy transfer mechanisms in research experimentation.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
